Stellenbosch was founded in 1679,the town served as a centre of the Dutch colonial administration and as a hub for the wine industry;with numerous wineries and vineyards offering tastings and cellar tours.Stellenbosch has a rich history and there are many landmarks to visit;such as a Stellenbosch museum and a Village museum.Enjoy the arts and culture scene;with numerous galleries;theatres;and cultural events taking place throughout the year. The countryside of Stellenbosch is dotted with scenic drives,offering stunning views of the mountains and vineyards.
FRANSCHHOEK

PAARL
Paarl is known for its excellent wines and estates that offers wine tastings;cellar tours and other experiences.Some popular wine estates in Paarl include Nederberg, Laborie, Fairview and KWV. Visit the Afrikaans language monument that celebrates the Afrikaans language and culture. It was built in 1975 and it offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.Go hiking or biking ; Paarl is surrounded by beautiful mountains and there are many hiking and biking trails in the area. Some popular trails includes the Paarl mountain nature reserve; Limietberg nature reserve and Drakenstein mountain.
